Target REDcard

December 16th, 2011 at 10:16 am

We opened up a Target REDcard last night. Credit limit is only $500, but we don't even spend $100 there each month, so we are plenty happy with it. Smile

It's nice being able to keep your credit open, and this card is just going to help do that even more. We won't have to charge the Chase card as much, as we get our Toiletries and Household Items from Target. Smile

And now you are saving 5% on those items. Did you get the one linked to your checking account? That makes it easy. If not, you can make payments to the credit card version at customer service with cash or check right after you use the card.

I have a credit card and debit card with Target. Since I get a TM discount there in addition to the 5%, it really pays to use one of those cards for my purchases. I paid for my Novolog this morning with the Target Visa and will go to Target later today to pay the $84 for that on the account. It's a pretty good system as long as I pay the full balance. Wink

Gotta love it! Smile We went for the credit card.

I'm pretty sure you can manage the card online now.

Hee, I love how Target REDCard posts bring out the fans. I received mine last month. Love the Take Charge of Education campaign, too.

Target is finally coming to Canada in 2012. I can't wait! I'll watch for the REDcard.
